Two Attendance Grants Available to District 5160 Rotary Clubs for the House of Friendship at the Rotary International Convention Houston, Texas June 4 – 8, 2022
Background
The District 5160 Budget for 2021-2022 includes $3000.00 to fund Project Fair Attendance Grants, intended to help clubs send members to Project Fairs. However, because of COVID, Project Fairs this year are either virtual or postponed.
Therefore, the District will allot the $3000.00 to fund grants of $1500.00 each to two clubs to be used as stipends to help member(s) attend the House of Friendship at the Rotary International Convention in Houston, Texas. The goal in sending members to the House of Friendship is to identify potential projects that may be relevant to some of our clubs and to establish relationships that might lead to collaborative projects.
